I felt that the whole hour appointment was extremely useful and helpful. Vikki listened to everything I had to say, explaining my symptoms . It was really nice to know that I was not overreacting and my symptoms were typical of perimenopause. I attended Vikkis menopause surgery as I could not get an appointment with my doctor. I think it turned out for the best, as I received great communication before and after the consultation, much more time than I would have with my GP. After careful consideration , understanding side effects etc and my options of treatment, I received a prescription for HRT treatment on the day of the appointment and have been taking this for 10 days. Vikki also wrote to my GP to give details of our consultation and to ask them to continue with my prescription moving forward. I feel reassured that if my GP will not do this, I can easily book follow up appointments with Vikki. I can honestly say that after suffering menopausal symptoms for the last 8 months, I am hopeful that the treatment I am taking should help ease the symptoms and let me get back to enjoying my life.

The length of the appointment meant that everything was covered in detail & I felt really listened to.

It was lovely just to feel like someone was listening and understood what you were talking about. The HRT that was recommended is so much easier to use.

Being able to talk to Vikki about how I was feeling without feeling rushed. Also Vikki showed me compassion and understanding throughout the appointment putting my anxiety at ease and enabling me to talk more openly about my experience of the Peri-menopause.

How easy it was from booking, form filling, visiting and getting a prescription done. It was good to chat.
